This dome top trunk would come from the late 1800 to very early 1900's. It measures 34.5"L X 24"H X 18"W and is covered in a combination flat metal and blackberry pattern embossed tin. The colors are black and cream and the cream has been given a head start toward the aging process. New handles have been applied and it opens, shuts, and latches just fine.
The interior retains its original paper which is brownish with a green pattern. It has been placed under a protective coating. Not perfect but about 95% complete. The original lithograph remains on the inside lid. The original tray was missing when found so I will include a new tray similar to the new one pictured below, without the dividers.
