This is a superb early 19th century American mahogany New York formal klimos slip seat side chair with exceptional inlaid flame crotched mahogany back panel, a scrolled quality carved acanthus back splat and molded saber legs. This wonderful early 19th century New York klimos dense mahogany acanthus carved seated side chair has survived in a superb state of original preservation. There is no damage, repair, replacement or restoration. Warm nut brown patina. Circa: 1800-1820. Height: 32 x Width: 18 x Depth: 17
