This is a lovely fine American mid 18th century Queen Anne maple Fussel-Savery Philadelphia school rush seat side chair. It has survived in an excellent state of preservation with one very old repair to the back on the reverse side of the top crest yoke. It has a warm mellow nut brown patina.. Height: 39 3/4'' Excellent Condition Circa: 1750-1770 Currently seeking a suitable identical mate by the same craftsmen or from the Fussel-Savery Philadelphia community workshop to form an assembled matched pair.
