Circa 1860. Superb, all original rosewood American Rococo chair. This exquisite Victorian chair has everything any collector or admirer of fine 19th furniture could ask for. Exceptional design and detail, all in solid, highly figured rosewood. What makes this and even better find is the amazing original condition, with no refinishing. All we have done is wax the beautiful original finish and retie the springs. The seat is the original needle work with brass tack border. As for the detail, I believe the pictures speak for themselves. All original. 34 1/2 " tall x 16"wide x 18" deep with a seat height of 18".
