This is a superb pair of early 19th century American Sheraton lace pillow back painted side chairs with the original gilt & floral stenciled decoration. Yellow ocher rush painted seats. Both chairs have survived in a superb state of original preservation without any damage, repair, replacement or restoration circa 1815-1830.
