This is a very fine 18th century American Chippendale Massachusetts mahogany elegant wing chair with superb proportions, a refined crest, flared rolled arms with a superb raked side profile and square molded legs and original medial stretcher. origin: Massachusetts, 1780-1790. This chair was obtained by Equinox Antiques with the period indigo silk damask and round headed nails in outstanding original condition. This wonderful wing chair has survived in a superb state of original preservation. Height 44, width 35, depth 30 1/2
