Description: This is a lovely set of twelve French Country oak spindleback chairs with rush seats. They came from the Northern area of France. The chairs have a design which comes from a spindle shape on the back rest to the seat. The legs are gracefully curved with turned feet. They have stretchers from the front to the back. The color is a rich dark brown oak with a warm patina. They were recently polished and waxed in our workshops and are ready to go into your home. The rush seats are shaped and the backs are slightly slanted, making the chairs very comfortable. They are very solid and sound. There are ten straight chairs and two armchairs.
