A stunning pair of 19th Century French Regence` lacquered and caned back armchairs, c. 1890, having scrolled legs and carvings with the shell and acanthus leaf design. Gilded highlights that accent the frame, flowing gracefully across the back with great arches. Note the caning is in exceptional condition, absolutely flawless. A fine example of French artistry at its best. Each measuring 25W X 19D X 38H and in immaculate overall condition for their age. A pair worthy of any design!
