circa: 1940 width: 30 height: 41 length: 11 This lovely antique pier cabinet was crafted in England around 1940. Today, the mahogany remains as beautiful as ever, with a rich complexion and a pronounced grain. The brass gilding and inlays also complement the mahogany wonderfully. Inside, the shelves are lined with elegant corduroy upholstery, and the cabinet rests on small but sturdy turned feet. Structurally, this cabinet remains as firm as ever, but it has sustained some superficial wear, including minor scuffs and slightly warped, uneven sides. The door also scrapes the bottom, and the lock no longer functions. Because these are only minor issues, overall condition remains good.
