The china closet dates to circa 1880. It is made of quarter sawn oak. This style of cabinet is called a vitrine. It would have been used primarily to display fine china or jewelry in a drawing room or ladies parlor. This piece has no damages and the rounded glass is in pristine condition. Locking latch with original key.
