circa: 1900 width: 48.5 height: 91 length: 20.25 This exquisite hand-carved hunt cupboard was made during the late Victorian period in England. In tremendous condition, this cabinet has a variety of possible uses in today''s home or office including a traditional bookcase, kitchen hutch, or dining room display. The entire piece is covered in beautiful hand carvings, as was traditional for this period. There is a locking cabinet up top with glass doors. The glass was probably added later, replacing the original wooden panels. Below are two drawers that are dovetailed front and back, and finally a locking cabinet below with two beautifully carved doors. Besides a few very minor marks, this piece has survived in very excellent condition. It breaks down into two pieces (top and bottom) for easier shipping and moving. Overall this piece is a wonderful example of its kind and would make a perfect addition to any home or collection.
