18th century French Louis XII cabinet. A superb example of a period cabinet from Provence. This cabinet has a lovely and rich patina—the perfect honey brown color which adds character and warmth to any décor. This cabinet is all original including the back and pewter hardware. The doors are wonderful, with hand-made panels, moldings and original walnut pegged construction. Incredible carved barley twist columns flank each door, upper and lower, and matching center columns complete the astethics of the piece. It also rests on original bunn feet, typical of the period. The drawers are all hand dove-tailed and maintain the original locks. This wonderful cabinet would make an excellent cabinet for a country kitchen or keeping room. Or, the perfect wine cabinet!!!
