900's Meiji Period Carved Cabinet

This is the most amazing hand carved piece of furniture Carved by a Meiji Japanese master carver who, I was told by the previous owner, lived in France. The artist was clearly influenced by Black Forest carving. It has a European feel. The wood is rare Brazilian rosewood. This would be a wonderful piece for a seafood restaurant!
