circa: 1960 width: 38 height: 54 length: 12.25 This oak bookcase was made in England around 1960 and recently imported to our store here in Atlanta, GA. Its most distinguishing feature is the linenfold carving on the bottom doors, sometimes also called scrolls. The glass doors at the top lock with included key and the top cabinet has 2 adjustable or removable shelves. Both top and bottom cabinets stay secured via a spring loaded latch on the inside of the right doors. There is carving at the top of the piece as well as some very nice hinges on the doors that give this bookcase a timeless appeal. It is in very good condition with normal wear that is consistent with age.
