circa: 1960 width: 77 height: 79 length: 17 This gorgeous large yew bookcase was crafted in England around 1960 as a Georgian period reproduction. Today, the yew remains as beautiful as ever, with a rich complexion and a pronounced grain. The dental moulding, astragal glass, shaped trim around the cabinet doors and shaped bracket feet complement the yew wonderfully. All top shelves are adjustable, while the lower shelves are removable, and the top and bottom sections separate easily for convenient movement and shipping. All doors even lock with an accompanying key. Although this bookcase has sustained some superficial wear (see pictures), it does remain as sturdy as ever so overall condition is very good.
