circa: 1960 width: 36 height: 77 length: 16 This beautiful yew bookcase was crafted in England around 1960 as a reproduction of a Georgian period antique. The yew shows a rich complexion and a pronounced grain that have grown more lovely over the years with the development of a lovely patina. The dental moulding, astragal glass, brass hardware and shaped bracket feet also look quite striking. Both sets of doors lock, and the two sections separate for convenient movement and shipping. Although this bookcase has sustained some superficial wear, it remains as sturdy as ever, so overall condition is very good.
