American Victorian Rococo rosewood bookcase / curio. This is an early example of the Rococo style and lacks the polish of later Victorian furniture and yet is exceptional in its charm. Lovely proportions, beautifully figured rosewood, wavy glass and warm patina come together to form this fine piece of early 19th century cabinetry. Hand carved flower top and door panels, fine, rare, crenellated molding around all the glass on its doors. It retains all it's original blown glass panels and adjustable wood shelves. Never stripped, cleaned and French polished. 48†wide x 12†deep x 81†tall.
