A very pretty giltwood banquette (or bench or stool ) in the Louis XIV (or late baroque)style. Nicely turned legs and stretcher in fine water gilt with profuse bleeding of the Venetian red bole. Upholstered in a colorful floral Aubusson or at least Aubusson styled tapestry (machine loom) with very minor wear to each corner and a few small separations on top. A pretty , colorful and sturdy piece.
Measures : 16.5" tall , 24" wide , 18 " deep
