Here is a wonderful French Second Empire bed (made during French Emperor Napoleon III reign). This bed was made by a French cabinet maker (of fruit wood) in the 1860''s. I bought this piece in Southwestern France (well known in France for the quality of the antique country pieces). Wonderful bed for children (in the 1800''s, it was used by French couples!!!) or as a day-bed. In good condition!
