We call it M.Lincoln's headboard because it is obvioiusly VERY old and looks to be handmade. Likely a settlers gift for his new bride. We found it in an old barn along with a very old bed springs also looked to be put together by hand but it was broken. The headboard is in very good condition and quite usable. It has a small bit of deterioration on the top back corner but that is not visable from the front.
