circa: 1910 width: 54 height: 62 length: 22 This beautiful antique mahogany wardrobe was crafted in Edwardian England around 1910. The distinct mahogany grain and warm complexion has been enriched by the patina the wood has developed over the past 90+ years. The most stunning flame mahogany makes up this amazing piece. Each door is adorned with a beautiful carving above the panel. Both the moulding and carving display the skill of the craftsman who created this gorgeous piece. There is a generous amount of storage space created by six drawers and a shelf on the right side and one drawer and multiple hooks on the other. Each drawer boasts solid-brass hardware and dovetailed drawer joints. This wardrobe separates into four pieces, the crown moulding, the plinth base and either side of the cabinet. Therefore making this piece perfect for moving and shipping. There is a lock and key. There are some minor imperfections to the finish and some crackling around the moulding and base (see pictures). Otherwise this Edwardian flame mahogany wardrobe is in fantastic condition and will continue to function beautifully for generations to come!
