1850's Double Door Armoire With A Pierced Carved Curved Crown. Inside This Fabulous American Antique Armoire Are Shelves. Lovely Rounded Corners With A Projecting Cornice And A Wide Overhanging. Beveled Cornice With Bold Convex-Concave Elements. Nice Detailed Frieze With Defined Top And Bottom By A Lower Band Of Molding. Front Enclosed By A Pair Of Full Width Doors With Large Rectangular Oval. Panels Carved Of Mahogany And Walnut. Doors Are Separated By Carved Columns And Are Hinged With 3 Pairs Of Hinges And Fitted With Keyholes.
