French Egyptian Revival Clock Black Belgium Slate, Circa 1870. The slate case is embellished depicting Egyptian figures in Gold leaf. The thick glass over the face has a very beautiful heavy bevel.
The face showing Roman numerals cut into the slate, then Gold gilded.
8 day round plate movement signed on the back plate with a Gold Medallion. Runs & strikes excellent.
