Superb antique 3 piece French gilt bronze and porcelain clock set. The face of the clock is signed Roy & Fill 15 Palais Royal Paris. There is additional writing on the bottom of the clock face. Other than a miniscule hairline near the Roman Numeral V, the beautiful hand painted porcelain clock face is in excellent condition. It has inset hand painted porcelain plaques with cherubs and flowers further decorating its magnificent composition. The clock set has two gilt bronze and porcelain signed urns. The urns have gilt bronze mask faces on the sides and an ornate decorative top and bottom. The porcelain paintings depict two courting couples in pastel colors with a landscape background. The urns are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use. The urns are signed in the bronze PH. MOUREY. The urns measure 13-1/4 inches high, 5-1/4 inches widest width, and 4-1/4 inches deep. The clock measures 13-1/4 inches high, 12-3/4 inches widest width, and 5 inches deep. Clock sets like these are very rare they hardly ever come to the market. This is an exquisite set rare and beautiful, guaranteed to please the most discriminating and particular connoisseur or collector.
