Great great book, from my own personal library. I gave it a healthy 2 years trying to find volume II and have other books to fill its space so I''m offering it for sale. From the St Johnsbury athenaeum St Johnsbury VT 1870. With inner plate giving this information also libris stamp on title page. Book was bound in fancy (much more expensive) leather with moire paper. The binding is in very good condition except it needs to be reglued which grades this book to good. This is volume I of a two volume set, having fine wood cuts and engravings. Pages nice and tight with some minor marks on pages. Leather binding in good condition with some wear at spine and corner plates. A great book and fine period. Priced accordingly.
