My Father had a dear friend also an artist himself and a serious collector of Fine Art along with a very large book collection of early first editions, several of these books have been signed by the authors and artists and in this case The Book for sale: Joan Miro - signed by artist “Miroâ€.
My Dad had received many of his friend's collectables and I have no reason to question the signature and its authenticity since I’m very familiar with both the integrity of my Father along with the quality fine art and collectables left to my father. I also did some research regarding the signature and have had others with a greater eye than I trained in the field acknowledging that this as a true Miro Signature, when researching this book on line I had also found a reputable Art Auction site and found this same book signed by Miro and note that there had been a personal signing of this particular book along with a series of 5 other books in the collection. The book can be certified and if found to be a false signature, a full refund will be given. The authorization of the signature must be done within 2 weeks of the purchase for a refund.
"It is not the work that is done in one's life that counts, but the path one's spirit has taken throughout that life; not, then, what has been done with a life, but what it lets one glimpse, and what will lighten the task of others in some more or less distant future."
