Large Cup and Saucer in Floral Design that is possibly a Tucker of Philadelphia. Pottery ware made from 1826-1838 at a factory founded in Philadelphia by William Ellis Tucker, who had found porcelain ingredients at sites near Wilmington, Delaware and in neighboring New Jersey. At first, transfer-printed landscapes and floral patterns were executed on porcelain. This is a large cup and saucer in good condition. The saucer is 6 7/8" in diameter and 1" in height/depth. The Cup is 3" in height and 4 1/2" in diameter. Beautiful colorful floral decoration in pink,blue and green colors with nice gold gilding. Foot and rim of cup is gilded as is the handle. The saucer also has nice gilding around the rim and center where the cup sits. Excellent Condition. Tucker pieces have become very rare. Fresh out of a Philadelphia Estate. This same Philadelphia Estate had over 65 pieces of small Rose Medallion pieces that we will be putting on our web site in upcoming days.   « Less

Circa 1800 Coalport Dragons in Compartment Three tea cups and two saucers. We believe that two of the cups were made for the two saucers and the other tea cup was a extra. The previous owner had a label on the bottom of one of the saucers, marked as a Chamberlain's Worcester Dragon C.1810. Being a specialist in chinese export porcelain, I am not sure of maker, but I am quite knowledgeable that this is a very collectible pattern in Fine English Porcelain regardless of the Englisher maker. All five pieces appear to be in good condition, with exception to gilding and the center medallion on one of the cups with much wear caused by use for over 200 years old. No chips or cracks. The saucers rims measure 5 1/4" in diameter. All three matching size cups are a tad over 2 1/2" in height and the top opening measuring 3" in diameter.   « Less

In addition there are two extra saucers only. All included in one package deal. Purchased out of a North Shore Massachusetts House on a recent buying trip. C. 1750 Chinese Export Famille Rose Tankard dating from the MID-18TH Century. Measures 5" in height and a top opening of 3 1/2" This attractive Bell-Shaped Mug is often referred to as Famille Rose. It has a pattern of rocks, a pheasant and peonies. Appears to be in Very Good Condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. Alternating panels of people in a garden scene and a panel of a bird surrounded by a butterfly and a adjoining bird in greenery. The saucer is true rose medallion with alternating panels of people and panels of greenery with a bird and flowers with a medallion in the center of the saucer. Circa 1820 Chinese Export Blue and White Syllabub Cup with original cover measuring 2 1/2" to top of cup not including the cover. Measures 3 1/4" to the top of the the finial on the cover. Beautifully moulded cross strapped handles and a nice berry finial on the top of cover. This is not blue canton, nanking or fitzhugh, just a real nice chinese export blue and white hard paste porcelain. Wonderful Quality and in Excellent Condition.   « Less

Circa 1760 Chinese Export Cup and Saucer with the scene of a bull, ox or cow. We have also listed a punch bowl that is exactly identical that we recently purchased out of the same estate. The cup has the animal scene with a mandarin lady and a tree with a building in the background. The saucer bottom where the cup sets is a beautiful large scene as described on the cup. The diapering on the inside of the cup and inside of the saucer are identically and absolutely beautiful. This is very high quality european subject scenes.   « Less

To Chinese Export Small Demitasse Cups. Both of these cups date Circa 1800, maybe last quarter of the 18th century around 1780. One is a famille rose cup measuring 2 3/8" in height ant the top opening measuring 2 3/8" in diameter. Wear to the famille rose decoration and pitting on inside of the cup. The other cup also dates from 1780-1800 Chinese Export with a urn painted in blue with flowers and a bird on top. This cup measures 2 5/8" in height and the top oprning is also 2 5/8". We feel that this cup was made for the American Market. One tiny nick on the rim. Rim is also decorated in blue and gold on the outside and inside of the cup.   « Less
