Fabrique De Geneve eight song cylinder music box with nine bells c1870. This fine Swiss music box plays eight songs and has a beautiful sound. We just had it cleaned and had the original finish waxed. The inlay, depicting a bird in flight, is composed of exotic woods, including rosewood, boxwood, and tulip. This music box has its original silver plated key cover stamped S L Marsden 1870. Measures 22 and three quarter inches wide by 12 inches deep and 10 and one half inches high. The case is in mint original condition without any repairs or problems. We have for sale an antique felt photo album with jewelry music box combination. The album exterior is a blue green felt with a mirror and trimmed out in brass. There are some photo's inside along with another mirror. The jewelry box has two trays that left's out that is lined in red satin or silk material. The exterior does show wear on the corners. The brass shows some tarnish. There is a label on the underneath side that gives the name of the songs the music box plays. CARMEN and RIGOLEFFO LIA DONA. This is a great collector item if someone could upholster the exterior. We do not know the maker or the exact date it was made. It is 8 inches tall by 13 1/2 inches by 9 1/2 inches and weighs 9 pounds. We will figure shipping with UPS ground. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested.   « Less

The Music Box uses 21.25" disks. There are 9 disks with the Music Box. The Music Box is 42.5" tall, and 30" wide. Symphonion is marked on the movement. The door on the case is marked "PH. LEONI, AUTOMATIC," and on the top left side it has a tag marked "Poner 10 Cents, Musica, and on the right side it has a tag marked "Poner 10 Cents, Chocolate.
