9617: You are bidding on the pair of monumental marble Foo Dog Statues. These statues were originally commissioned for a large hotel, and never placed. They were crafted approx. 15-20 years ago and having been sitting in a storage yard waiting for a home. The dogs are made of solid Italian marble and sit on granite base. (three pieces, each statue) Each statue measures a grand 4 feet x 5 feet by 10 feet tall overall height. We did notice some signs of wear or age such as some chips or chunks on edges as shown and one has some cracking of marble. Nothing structurally wrong or detracting. These statues would require special shipping. Overall total weight of all pieces is approx. 22,000 lbs. For moving, they were placed on flat bed trailer with forklift and were lifted off with crane. We can get you in touch with a company who can handle transport to most areas. This is a special item that requires special moving which would be at cost of buyer.
