Incredible Victorian agate cameo set of Pin / pendant, earrings and chain. All are set in solid gold. Hardstone cameos are much more difficult to find than the more common shell type cameos. The mounts for the cameos are a thing of beauty. Incredibly difficult with piercings, pearls set completely around all the pieces and a locket on the back for hair or a picture complete this stunning example of High Victorian jewelry at its finest. No damage, one earring nose was poorly carved and backs converted to screwback can be converted if desired. Measures 1.75'' tall in frame. Circa 1860 and as fine a quality set as you could ever own. What can you say but wow. Rene Lalique is the foremost designer of Art Nouveau jewelry of his age. This piece is example of why. It shimmers with golden rays behind a woman that would make Alphonse Mucha jealous. The detailing is amazing when you realize this is done in glass thatis an almost cameo effect with opal on the high points and clear reflecting the golden shimmer behind. Rene made these in a ring, brooch, necklace, bracelet and other forms but this is the only womans head i have been able to find. An incredibly rare and wonderful piece that measures 1.5'' top to bottom and 1'' in width. Truly an exciting find from a great Maker. Unsigned but unquestionably by Lalique. Its very hard to size rose cut diamonds but I''d guess the total weight of the diamonds but 2.5 to 3 carats of diamond weight seems about right. The center marquis cut stone is about .75 to 1 carat in weight. Stunning example with only the most minor of wear to show for 200 years of life. No damage or problems. Killer example with a beautiful composition. Circa 1800 and as fine a example as you are likely to find. Size is a large 1.5'' by 1.25'' and far more impressive in person. This is a truly outstanding Georgian pearl and sapphire stomacher, c. 1820. The pin has elaborate grape leaves of gold plated with silver and inlaid with sapphires. The bottom of the piece is set with pearls to form a faux grape pattern. Stomachers were worn on the bodice just below the breast and went from a modest size to opulent pieces trailing wide and long down the entire front of a gown. Stunning 3'' in height and in excellent condition missing 3 small sapphires and more pearls could be added. Cica 1820 and a true delight for use or for any collection. Very very unusual piece!
