Antique Treen : A scarce porcupine quill Basket - inlaid - circa 1870-80

A wonderful and scarce porcupine quill basket having inlays of rectangular shape on two tiers with porcupine quills supporting the top tier, with alternating sized discs every half inch or so

Circa: 1870 - 1880
Good Antique Condition - with the usual splitting and a few missing inlays everything stable - possibly once restored on the corners but if so very well done. We have sold a number of these over the years and I have to say that the condition of this one is the best - everything stable, all quills look original - buyer will be delighted with this item but please view images or ask questions if unsure
