A Thai Thailand Rattanakosin gilt bronze Buddha late 19th century possibly earlier. The Buddha sits cross legged atop a tiered pedestal cast with a serene face wearing elaborate garments. Back with rings for attachment to a wall as previously used in a temple setting. Measures 5 5/8 inches High X 3 3/4 inches wide X 1 1/2 inches deep. Losses to gilding on surface attesting to its age and tip of flame is gone.
