The design signifies the eternal marital unity (the cranes mate for life) and a symbol of the heaven, also longevity and good luck. Green patina is present on the surface. Scattered pine needle are present and in addition to the crane symbolize long life and good luck (kissho). A central minogame (boss) is in shape of a turtle that also symbolizes the longevity and the earth. Very rare Japanese antique artifact. Diameter: 4.5" (11.5 cm.).
