Delicately sculptered bronzed Buddhist elephant with a detachable pagoda top. This turn of the century antique Japanese incense burner has a rich patina. The pagoda top has an irregular base that fits perfectly. A few of the pagoda tips are missing but detract not at all from the piece. c.1900. (7" x 5" x 3") (18cm x 13cm x 8cm).
