A well preserved pair of Inca leather sandals and braid of hair. This child's sandals and hair are from a mummified bundle that appear to represent the Inca Capacocha, a sacriï¬cial rite involving children in honor of the Sun and other deities. Both sandals and hair were obtained simultaneously and will not be parted. In Fine condition. Peru, AD 1400-1532. Sandals measure approx. 5.5" 14cm. Hair measures 27" 65.58cm.
