Superb gemstone in mottled pink and white. Priest standing before the alter of Marduk with unidentified items in his hands, offering goat beneath. Six rayed star, bulls head and a winged sun disk. Old collection mounting of brass with the letter Q. Size: 17-18 mm. Condition: Pristine. Provenance: Ex Oliver Antique. Ex Swedish private collection - purchased during the 1950s at Viktoria Lindströms Antikhandel, Stockholm. Her business card in the collection together with notes. Ex late 19th. century collection, note the old costum made brass mount with collection number (letter) hand-chiselled.
