An elegant Greek bronze jar, dating to c. 600 BC.
The jar is very beautiful with a low hemispheric body and a slim concave neck, separated with a raised concentric band. The vessel stands on a flat base. Interestingly, this vessel was once reinforced in antiquity with two small plates, each secured with three rivets.
Size: 74 x 80 mm. Condition: Choice. A few minor bumps to the body as seen in pictures, but fully intact. Marvelous shiny green patina!
