Extremely detailed hearth-scarab, dating to the 2nd.-1st. mill. BC.
The scarab is carved in fine hard green stone with some patina in the details.
The scarab is large and quite massive, measuring c. 42 mm. x 30 mm.
Fantastic details of the head and especially of the legs of this scarab, very naturalistic.
Condition: Superb! - perfectly intact and with a lot of eye appeal!
