Antique mesoamerican Pre-Columbian large stone Celt axe of massive expanding form with sharp cutting edge, made of pale Olivine Gneiss hardstone, Maya Post-Classic (900-1521 AD).
This is a typical work axe, so is not as finely polished as the Maya ceremonial celts.
CONDITION: Showing its age and usage, some minor chips to the cutting edge, otherwise in good condition.
