One of a kind, hand made ship model. Extremely large and impressive example of nautical art, fashioned of metal, this model of what I believe is a 16th century three mast sailing vessel, was passed down in one family and originated in Southern Italy. More sculpture than model, with wind filled sails, intricate rigging and an abundance of fine detail. This unique piece of art, through both it's bold size and artistry cannot help making a powerful statement in any setting. Artist signed "Tusa", very good "as found" condition. 50" stem to stern, 14" wide x 32" tall.
