Stunning lacquered buddhist altar in fantastic condition considering it is dated on the back 'Ganbun 2' C.1737. Copper metal fittings and inside has carved buddhist swirl and clouds in gold gilt. Both doors swing open on hinges. The inscription on the back also reads: Cho-mi-doshi jugatsu or october in the ancient zodiac calendar. Also "Koshi Masanao Haiko" commissioned by a Mr. Masanao Koshi. Ask for shipping quote. H:42cm x W:17cm
