Exciting lost-wax cast bronze altar set of candlestand, flower vase and incense burner. The prototype Meiji Period Buddhist altar troika made of red bronze is usually found before c.1900. The bronze candlestand has a crane standing on a mythical turtle back with a lotus flower leaf stem. The incense burner has mythical shishi lions adorning the top and sides in raised relief and buddhist cloud handles.
