Details: A hilt with a three bar brass guard, brass pommel cap, and wooden grip. An extremely long slightly curved single edged flat back steel blade, cut with a broad full-length fuller and a slender fuller along the back-edge stamped on the ricasso with knight's head. The sword is in its original steel scabbard with two suspension rings.
CONDITION: the blade and the scabbard slightly pitted, scabbard dented, mouthpiece of the scabbard partially broken, absence of the grip wrapping.
MEASUREMENTS: Overall length with the scabbard: 108.5 cm (42 3/4 in). Length of the sword without the scabbard: 103 cm (40 1/2 in). Length of the blade: 89.5 cm (35 1/4 in).
