SOLD Antique, early 20th century, Nepalese Gurkha combat knife, kukri / Khukuri. A good quality, hand forged, very sharp single edge steel blade of characteristic re-curved form and graceful profile, with a long shallow fuller. Decorated along the back-edge with chased scrolls, mounted in a buffalo bone hilt, incised with checkered pattern with an iron ferule and white metal cap. In its original brown, leather covered, wooden scabbard with incised pattern.
CONDITION: In good condition considering its age, leather very dry with some cracks, absence of two small companion knives.
