Antique late 18th - early 19th century, Ch’ing Dynasty, Chinese short sword with hand forged double edged sturdy steel blade, rosewood grip. The brass cross guard, pommel, and fittings of the scabbard are beautifully hand chased with symbols of Longevity and images of bats (Chinese symbol of good luck).

CONDITION: the sword is in good condition considering its age except for some chips on the finish of the scabbard what can be expected from 200 years old object.
