SOLD Extremely rare Authentic Antique late 16th century over 400 Year Old Polish Hussar sword (King Stefan Batory period: 1571- 1586) with slightly curved single edged sturdy hand forged steel blade stamped with the maker marks, crescent moon and star. A skillfully hand forged iron hilt of rounded bars, comprising a pair of straight quilons with bulbous terminals, knuckle –guard with inner and outer guard. The grip retaining its original binding of plaited wire with fluted cushion – shaped pommel.
