Antique Sterling Silver Medallion With Chain Circa. 1900 British During the very early 1900's, sterling medallions were used as rewards for winning certain sporting events. Many of these medallions have inscriptions on the back, noting the competition. However, this medallion is blank, so you can add, or not add, an inscription. This medallion has three hallmarks on the back. Measures 1 7/8 inches high with bale, 1 3/8 inche wide. Comes with 18 inch sterling silver chain. Can be worn by either a man or a woman.
