Antique, Art Deco earrings made of diamonds and carved jade set in platinum mounts. Circa 1920-30''s. Measurements: 1 1/2 inches long. Weigh 5.8 grams. Small Platinum domes, set with diamonds sit on the ear. These suspend a series of collet-set diamonds, joined by loops, thus allowing the entire bottom portion of the earrings to swing as the wearer moves. A foliage and filigree platinum clasp encloses jade rings/circles. Jade is a beautiful colour, not quite uniform (as can be seen in the highly magnified ''photos), but rare and desireable. The carving is very fine and depicts dolphins/fish, scrolls and flowers. Good condition. No damage/restoration found.
