Victorian, circa 1880 Majolica oyster plate with shell shaped wells around the edge on blue backing. Posy of leaves and a floral sprig on one side, with the flowers draped into a central well. Cream reverse with a painted mark inside the foot. Good. No cracks. No hairlines. No flakes. Slight wear to the front. Kiln effect: glaze pops to the reverse. Restored chip to the foot. 10ins diameter
