I have two hand painted antique porcelain dessert plates 8-3/4" in diameter, both with pattern number 4100 on the back. There is no maker's mark, but I am reasonably certain that the plates are English from about 1830-1850. They are in excellent condition, and the slightly translucent porcelain rings nicely when lightly tapped. The landscape scenes in the centers, as well as the gilding on both plates, is in excellent antique condition. The apple green ground is highly attractive. The listed price is for both plates. After more than 150 years, these plates should stay together.
